Nurse call systems, emergency power infrastructure, fire detection within individual units, and the coordination requirements of commissioning for an aged care operator all require experience that a general residential contractor rarely has.

PLE has delivered electrical scopes on two aged care projects for Hutchinson Builders and Odyssey Lifestyle Care — Odyssey Aged Care Robina (148 units, $2.8M) and the current Odyssey Hope Island development ($8.0M).

Odyssey Aged Care Robina — 148 units, multi-building complex, delivered for Hutchinson Builders. Contract value $2.8M. Scope included nurse call, emergency power, CCTV, intercom, and all electrical systems.
