Aged Care Electrical

PLE delivers electrical scopes for aged care and seniors living facilities — nurse call, emergency power, and complex commissioning for specialised operators.

Specialist Aged Care Electrical

Aged care and seniors living developments present different commissioning and handover requirements from standard residential projects. Nurse call systems, emergency power infrastructure, fire detection within individual units, and the coordination requirements of commissioning for an aged care operator all require experience that a general residential contractor rarely has.

PLE has delivered electrical scopes on two aged care projects for Hutchinson Builders and Odyssey Lifestyle Care — Odyssey Aged Care Robina (148 units, $2.8M) and the current Odyssey Hope Island development ($8.0M).

Aged Care Systems We Deliver

  • Nurse call systems — supply, wiring, and commissioning
  • Emergency power — generator systems, UPS, and automatic transfer switches
  • Fire detection within residential units — compliant with aged care requirements
  • Emergency lighting — AS2293 compliant throughout all areas
  • Access control — Inner Ranger Concept Inception for resident and staff access management
  • CCTV — Dahua IP systems for common areas and perimeter
  • IP intercom — resident and family visitor communication
