Dynalite DALI for High-Rise Residential
PLE is currently delivering a Dynalite DALI lighting control system at Sea Glass — a 27-storey boutique residential tower in Broadbeach for Hutchinson Builders. The system controls lobby, corridor, pool deck, and gymnasium lighting across the building, allowing scene management by time of day and occupancy sensor input.
What DALI Delivers
- Individual addressable control of each luminaire driver via the DALI protocol
- Scene management — set different lighting levels and effects for different times of day
- Occupancy sensing — reduce lighting in unoccupied corridors and areas
- Daylight harvesting — reduce electric light when natural light is sufficient
- Time-based scheduling — automatic overnight setback without manual intervention
- Centralised management via Dynalite software — update scenes without rewiring
LED Upgrades for Existing Buildings
PLE also delivers LED lighting upgrades for existing buildings — replacing fluorescent and halogen lighting with energy-efficient LED alternatives, with or without DALI control. This work suits body corporates and building managers looking to reduce common area energy costs.
